Each semester, the sisters of Omega Phi Alpha complete service projects in these seven areas:
University-community
any that address issues affecting university students, benefits anyone or any organization on campus, and/or improve any aspects of university life.
Community at Large
any that benefit the citizens in the local area or enhance community life. One Community-at-Large project is done each semester by the active sisters.
Nations of the World
any project that aids in a worldly cause or address issues that affect the people of the world.
Members of the Sorority
any project that has the goal of contributing to the betterment of any active sister in the sorority. This is not limited to just the local chapter.
National President's Project
Each National President chooses a project for the sorority to focus on for that year. Womens Health will be our focus for the year 2006-2007.
National Permanent Project
The National Permanent Project was chosen by Nationals and is observed by each chapter once per semester. The national permanent project for Omega Phi Alpha is Mental Health. We assist with any project that aids in awareness or benefits anyone that is in contact with mental health issues.
Chapter Permanent Project
Each chapter gets to choose a specific project that they wish to focus on year after year.
